Charoli

Description

Charoli is a soft seed with almond-like flavor. It is rich in proteins, iron, calcium, and vitamins B1 and B2, and widely used in Ayurveda and Unani medicines for treating a range of ailments. Charoli forms a part of several mouth-watering Indian delicacies, including halwa and shrikhand. It is ground to thicken kormas, and used as a seasoning in soups and other dishes.
